1:1 Mental Training

Individual mental training sessions help young athletes with performance optimization and the mental skills development needed to achieve their individual goals. We take time to understand the athlete's unique background and performance goals to develop a plan utilizing research-backed sport psychology strategies.

How it Works

Initial Intake Session
This is the beginning of the process – it's where we get to know each other and decide if we're the right fit for one another! As much as we're getting to know the athlete, their goals, and their background, we're also giving the athlete and their parents the chance to get to know us on a deeper level.
Your Customized Training Plan
There's a reason we make sure that our initial intake session is spent really getting to know each other! We take everything we learn about the athlete's background, goals, strengths, and challenges to develop a customized training plan that incorporates research-backed sport psychology strategies. This plan is created to help optimize the athlete's performance and help them to achieve their goals in the healthiest way.
Sessions Begin!
This is where the work begins! We spend 60 minutes together for 4, 8, or 12 weeks, working through the framework created in the athlete's customized training plan. This time is spent improving upon existing skills and developing new ones that help the athlete develop better mental strength and achieve their goals. We use stories, metaphors, and real world examples to help teach new skills in order to help the athlete more easily conceptualize and apply what they learn.

Group Training

Group training allows teams and organizations to grow stronger together. By understanding the goals of the group, our training sessions can help athletes learn skills and techniques that help them become stronger both individually and collectively as a team.

How it Works

Initial Meeting
Through an initial meeting with the team's coach or organizational leadership, we get to know the team's goals and needs. We talk through currents strengths and challenges to determine if we are the right fit for one another, and to start planning how mental training can effectively push the team toward their goals.
Your Customized Training Plan
We ask a lot of questions for a reason! We take everything we learn in our initial meeting to develop a customized training plan incorporating research-backed sport psychology strategies. This plan will help develop and improve upon the team's skills to help them not only become stronger athletes individually, but to help them come together and achieve their goals as a group.
Sessions Begin!
Group sessions are 60 minutes and always take place in-person. Our preference is to meet with the team where they typically practice, either right before or after their normal practice time. This helps us to understand how they interact with their training environment, and also helps to develop and tie their skills to the place where they need to be applied.
